From the build
What we're fixing this month
Each month we publish what we are actually working on: the things that are broken, the things we are building, and the things we have decided not to do yet. This is that list for this month, written before the work is finished rather than after.

Why publish a to-do list?
Building a mobile network in public means you see the scaffolding. We would rather show you the list than pretend everything arrived fully formed. If something on here matters to you, tell us and it moves up.
What we are fixing
Switching without the hold music
Moving your number to Kindly should be a form and a text, not a phone call. We are tightening the porting flow end to end so the only thing you have to do is give us your PAC code. See how switching works.
Clearer data on your SIMs
Usage should be obvious the moment you log in — what each SIM has used, what is left, and nothing you have to interpret. Work in progress on the SIM management screens.
Coverage answers, not coverage maps
A map tells you a colour. We want a straight answer for your postcode. Check coverage today and tell us where it gets it wrong.
What we are building next
- Monthly Kindly Fund reporting, so the money is traceable rather than described. Figures will be published once the first full month completes — placeholder until then.
- Impact updates from the causes themselves, in their own words.
- A plainer bill: one price, one line, no annual rises. See the Fair Price Promise.
What we have decided not to do yet
We are not adding a loyalty scheme, a refer-a-friend bonus or an introductory rate. All three do the same thing: they make one customer pay more so another pays less. Everyone on Kindly pays the same price, and every active SIM gives £1 a month to the Kindly Fund.
FAQ
How often is this list published?
Monthly, at the end of the month, covering the work in front of us rather than a summary of what shipped.
Can I ask for something to be added?
Yes. Email hello@kindlymobile.co.uk and tell us what is getting in your way. Requests that affect the most people move up the list first.
Will you say when something slips?
Yes. If something on this list does not happen, the next entry says so and why. That is the point of writing it down.
